Filmmaker and Artist

Writer | Director | Video Artist

Will grew up across the UK, Central America and France, spending most of his adult life in South Korea.

His storytelling explores conflicting realities and dystopian states, often portraying a sense of alienation within strange contexts. His inspiration stems from experiences growing up with neurodiversity while moving around various international environments. Without a place to call home, he is fascinated by the idea of existence without a sense of belonging.

His debut feature film ‘Sticky Become the Scabs we Pick’, is a Neo-noir psychological thriller that tells the story of a woman living with PTSD in a dystopian future. The film was produced in South Korea and is currently in post-production.

His sequence of animated video artworks, entitled ‘Deformation of the Endless Mind’ showcases fractal loops, black holes and nightmarish dream-states that transcend the sub-atomic multiverse and subconscious mind.

Will’s experimental short film, ‘Leave a Scar’, explores subconscious sexuality and self-destruction. It was selected as a finalist at Amarcort Film Festival and longlisted for Aesthetica Film Festival.

His short film script ‘The GreyGarden’ was shortlisted by Dyspla, an award-winning arts organisation producing and developing the work of dyslexic + neurodivergent storymakers.

Will collaborates frequently with Lee Hyunju. The team has produced a number of works together. Most notably, ’Luna in the Dark (funded by BBC Arts and Arts Council England and screened at Lund Fantastic Film Festival), and ‘The Road Made of Water’ (Winner of the Audience Award at the Sara Putt Associates Film Festival).

Alongside writing and directing, Will has also accumulated skills in producing, cinematography, editing and sound design.
